Initially, I joined FA due to friends' invitation like most of the people. Since I joined FA in 2003, I find that FA is a very crucial place for each believer who is living tightly on schedule, separated from family overseas. For me, Fa is a catalyst that causes me to be in depth in Bible studies. The weekly topic provided each week provides friendly-learning material which suits the need of the members.
Moreover, the bond that is formed from the fellowship has been priceless I have been learning to interact and understand members with different personalities and ground. Brothers and sisters in FA is another family to me where mutual support and understanding is provided as we grow together learning God's words. (Jess) |

Aku gabung ama FA Carlton 2 ini udah sekitar 1 tahunan lah. Dulu waktu pertama kali diajak ikut FA itu aku sulitnya minta ampun, berbagai alasan keluar. Tapi setelah masuk FA, semua pandangan tentang FA yang terlalu serius, bosen, bikin ngantuk itu langsung hilang semua. Itu karena orang-orangnya yang jayus dan fun semua gitu. Tapi walaupun santai, di FA juga tetap focus on God. Aku juga ngerasa kalo imanku ke Jesus semakin kuat, dan kalo lagi ada masalah, anak-anak juga pada mo bantuin, jadi lumayan meringankan masalah. Pokoknya pesenku, yang belom ikutan FA, ayo ikutan! Coba sekali aja, dijamin pasti ketagihan deh! GBU all! (Indra)
Pas gue pertama diajakin ke FA Carlton 2 ini emang rada canggung dan males banget, soalnya dulu tinggalnya di luar City dan lebih suka main-main sama temen. Tapi pas aku udah pindah ke City, jadi mulai sering ikut FA dan punya keinginan buat ikut melayani di gereja. So, since that time jadi lebih enjoy aja, karena anak-anaknya asik dan jayuuss! Hahaha! Last but not least, the most interesting “thing” di FA Carlton 2 ini kata anak-anak sih makanannya! Hahahaha! Gak deeeh.. It’s loads of fun to be part of it!! For sure, FA is kinda my second family here, we care for each other, we share either bad or great things we had, we sing, we laugh, we pray for others and so on.. Btw, mari kita tingkatkan our responsibilities in this FA! (time, talent, treasure & trustworthy!). Semoga aja one day ada hiburan selain “asyikbenayaaa~~”, wahahaha!

I used to took Christianity as a religion. I went to church, volunteered in every youth events and even praying as part of legalistic tasks. It was an obligation rather than a desire or passion.
I joined FA Carlton 2 in September 2005. From then on, I’ve learned so much about God through these new friends. Together with them, I was brought to a new dimension in knowing Jesus, and finally fell in love with Him.
Being a Christian is not a mere religion anymore. It is a life experience, it’s a burning passion. Now I’m proud of being a born-again Christian and being part of FA, the wonderful community that loves God as much as I do. (Yuko Marcos)
